Martin Luther King Jr., Civil Rights Activist, Minister,
Nobel Peace Prize Recipient and his wife Coretta. Martin
is known for his work, to require The United States of
America to live up to its credo, "All Men are Created
Equal." He was assassinated on April 4, 1968, at The
Lorraine Motel in Memphis, Tennessee. His assassin is
considered to be
James Earl Ray, but as of this writing,
no one is sure except the killer.
