Richard M. Nixon, 1969-1974, 37th president,
and wife, Patricia. Mr. Nixon's Vice President,
Spiro Agnew, resigned, after being caught
accepting bribes, in the amount of $268,482.
Richard was forced to resign after accusations
of illegal wire taps and breaking and entering
at The Democratic Commitee National
Headquarters. He was also accused of using
the FBI, CIA and IRS to strong arm enemies.
He was pardoned by Gerald Ford. Imagine
that! Pat died of lung cancer from
smoking, at Park Ridge, New Jersey in
1993. Richard died in hospital, after a stroke,
in New York City, 10 months later. He was 81.
They are interred in Yorba Linda, California at
The Richard M. Nixon Library.
