Calvin Coolidge, 30th president, 1923-1929, and
wife, Grace Anna. Coolidge opposed Child Labor
Laws, Federal Flood Protection Laws and was
the first president to practice, "Trickle Down
Economics." When asked about Herbert
Hoover, Calvin replied,"For six Years that man
has given me unsolicited advice-all of it bad."
Mr. Coolidge died of a heart attack at his North
Hampton, Massachusetts, home in 1933. Grace
passed in 1951 at the age of 78, They are buried
at Notch Cemetery, Plymouth Notch, Vermont.
