|Woodrow Wilson, 28th president, 1913-1921, and wife,
Edith Bolling. Woodrow tried to implement a "League of
Nations" or United Nations, in his heyday. Unsupported
by the U.S., it was doomed to failure. He was also president
during World War I. After a massive stroke, it is
rumored, his wife, Edith, ran the U.S. Government for
last two years, of his presidency. Mr. Wilson's 1st wife,
Ellen Axson, is pictured in row #2, next to her
tombstone, located in Myrtle Hill Cemetery, Rome,
Georgia. Woodrow is interred in The Washington
National Cathedral in Washington, DC. Edith is
located below the tile in front of his crypt.
